The Boat Distress Signal Kit has many benefits...
  • The Boat Distress Signal Kit is mounted usually by the steering wheel and radio for quick and easy access in case of an emergency.
  • As the distress call is being made, the Boat Distress Signal Kit is activated by pressing a toggle switch on a cartridge which inflates a balloon with helium, and when released, is attached to 300 feet of nylon line.
  • The balloon is made of a radar deflector material which is picked up on any radar. This will enable the rescuers to locate the exact location of the craft.
  • The craft can be located even if it sinks up to 300 feet in depth. Coast Guard can easily locate the vessel in cases of engine trouble, a ruptured fuel line, or the need for medical assistance.
